Koler Law Office announces new attorney hire

Jeslynn Smith recently joined Koler Law Office as a Senior Associate Attorney.

A new addition to Koler Law Office means a heightened service for families facing long-term care needs. Jeslynn Smith has joined the firm as a senior associate attorney. With six years of experience, Smith will continue to serve families in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning and Administration as well as Guardianships.

Smith’s experience in elder law, especially the knowledge she brings of working with farms and farm asset protection, meshes well with the firm’s focus to offer families protection, preservation and peace of mind.

“Since I started working at Koler Law Office, I love the atmosphere, the easy-going personalities, and the fact that they genuinely care about their clients and their clients’ best interests,” said Smith.

Since 2013, Smith has practiced law in Indiana, having gained her undergraduate degree as a paralegal in 2005. Her professional experience started, and was sustained, at Dale, Huffman & Babcock, in Bluffton, where she worked her way from paralegal to attorney. Smith is no stranger to determination, having attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan on the weekends. Now she applies that determination and dedication to serving families at Koler Law Office.

“Jeslynn is the perfect addition to our firm,” said Managing Attorney Lindsay M.L. Koler. “We are so excited to have her join our team.”

Smith is a long-time native of Wells County where she shares life with her husband, Wesley and their German Shepherd, Mya. She is passionate about spending time with family and friends.  In her free time, Smith enjoys camping, fishing, listening to music and going to concerts. Currently, she also enjoys working out through a Dance2Fit program four days a week.
